COVID-19 TOWN NEWS & LOCAL RESOURCES

To help reduce the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Town Hall will remain closed to the public until further notice.
Essential services will not be interrupted, however no meetings will be held.  We will continue to update the town with latest news via our website.
The Lamar Police Department is closed to the public, however regular patrol and response to calls will not be affected.  You may reach the Police Department by calling 843-326-5555 and after-hours for non-emergency calls at 843-398-4920
Town Council Meetings are being held via Facebook Live until further notice.  You may watch here on our Lamar Facebook page.

As always, you may contact Town Hall for questions or assistance, Monday & Tuesday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m @ 843-326-5551. At the March Council Meeting, Council voted to extend the Mask Ordinance, with an expiration date of May 10. Face coverings will remain required in retail and foodservice establishments.

  • Mail to Town Hall (P.O. Box 267 Lamar, SC 29069)  Make your check or money order payable to “Town of Lamar”
  • Use the drop box at Town Hall
  • Call 843-968-3192 for phone payments

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:  If your water is disconnected for non-payment, all trash receptacles will be removed from your premises until past due bills are brought current.
